Radijzen (Radishes)

A scatter of radishes, deep pink bodies trailing thin pale roots like loose threads. The waxy skins catch the light and glow back from the tabletop. No story here, only colour, gloss and the wiry tangle of those roots, painted for the sheer love of it.
