Nectarines

Three nectarines in a row, smooth skins running from yellow into deep red, softly doubled in the polished surface. Without the peach's fuzz, the bare gloss is harder still to render, and Wiedijk holds it perfectly. Simple, ripe and quietly virtuosic.
