Witte druiven (White Grapes)

A small cluster of pale green grapes on a white ledge, each globe holding its own point of light under a dusty grey bloom. Beneath, the reflection melts into a warm haze. The whole pleasure is that powdery film, the sign of fruit just off the vine and not yet handled.
