Rode druiven (Red Grapes)

A heavy bunch of red grapes, skins flushed from wine-dark to dusty plum, each berry carrying a single bright highlight. The pale rose reflection spreads across the table like spilled colour. Ripe to the point of bursting, painted at the exact moment fruit is most beautiful and most fleeting.
