Kersen in glazen schaal (Cherries in a Glass Bowl)

Cherries heaped in a footed glass bowl, a few strays scattered on a Sunlight soap crate with its painted lettering. The dark fruit glows through the glass, each stem and highlight exact. Plain produce raised on an old advertising box, and all the better for it.
