Champignons (Mushrooms)

Five white mushrooms tumbled across a pale reflective surface, caps and thick cut stems turned every way so you read them from all sides. The soft fawn flesh and faint bruising are caught in a low, even light. Common champignons, looked at until they hold the eye like something rare.
