Rode bessen (Redcurrants)

A loose heap of redcurrants with a single sprig drawn out to the side and a few stray berries rolling forward, each translucent globe lit from within and holding a bright pinpoint of white. The thin skins glow like little lamps over the pale table. Tiny, jewel-clear fruit, painted for the sheer gleam of it.
