Gebak (Pastries)

An array of patisserie spreads across a white cloth, a chocolate cream puff, a layered tompoes, a slab of chocolate cake, churros and butter cookies. Each surface is rendered apart, glossy chocolate, stiff whipped cream, crumbling pastry, sugar crust. It is sheer appetite painted with Old Master patience, and you can almost taste the sweetness.
