Rozenbottels (Rose Hips)

A scatter of rose hips, red and orange with one still green, their dried sepals curling like little crowns, each one mirrored in the glossy table. Wiedijk catches every shift from green to scarlet as they ripen. Small wild fruit, painted with great delicacy.
