Against a dark ground, a glass decanter, a blue SUIKER tin, a brass Foot Powder canister and a little blue bowl gather on a worn box. The mix of enamel, brass and clear glass is a small catalogue of surfaces, each catching the light in its own way. Ordinary cupboard things lit like treasure.
