Theepot met pruimen en bramen (Teapot with Plums and Blackberries)

A red THEE tin, a blue and white enamel teapot, a cup of blackberries and a bowl of dusky plums with a sprig of redcurrants, on a daisy-edged napkin. The soft bloom on the plums and the gentle shine of the enamel are painted with equal patience. Sweet, cool and almost edible.
