Veenbessen (Cranberries)

Cranberries tumbling from a clear plastic punnet across the shining table, a bright red drift fanning out and softly reflected below. The firm waxy skins each hold a single white highlight, some pale, some deep crimson. An ordinary punnet turned into a small cascade of colour.
