Steiger (Jetty)

On a wooden jetty at the edge of dark water, a laughing man in a red robe leans on a staff, a little monkey perched on his head, while a robed figure with a fringed, funnel-shaped face gestures toward a whole wall of dreams. Behind them everything teems, carved faces and idols, a masked clown ringed with lights, a biplane, a crate stamped 51, a frog resting on a bottle. It is one of his busiest, strangest scenes, a carnival of the subconscious where every corner hides another creature. There is no single story to follow, only a world to wander, and the deeper you look the more faces turn to meet you.
